At Momma's Light Therapy Co., our mission is to provide compassionate, evidence-based pediatric therapy that supports the whole child through every stage of communication, feeding, and developmental growth. Through specialized clinical care and family-centered collaboration, we work alongside parents every step of the way — because when families feel supported, children thrive.

I’m
Jenn –Thirteen years of clinical work taught me one thing: when a family finally finds the right support, everything changes.
I'm a speech-language pathologist with 13 years of experience specializing in pediatric speech, language, and feeding therapy. But before any of that — I'm a mom to two spirited girls, a military wife, and someone who has sat in enough living rooms and waiting rooms alongside families to know how heavy this journey can feel.
Before moving to Maryland, I built and grew a private practice in California — an experience that shaped how I think about building a practice that truly serves families. When our family relocated for my husband's Navy career, I spent three years in the school system building relationships with local clinics and listening to what Calvert County families actually needed.
The need was real. And nobody was meeting it.
Momma's Light is my answer to that — a place rooted in faith, built on clinical excellence, and designed to care for the whole family. Your child and you.

We designed our Huntingtown space with intention — for your child and for you. While your child is in session, the waiting room is yours. Coffee, snacks, an encouragement wall, and a space that finally feels like someone thought about what you needed too. Because they did.

Jenn Anderson, M.S., CCC-SLP
Founder & Speech Language Pathologist
Jenn is a board-certified SLP with 13 years of clinical experience in pediatric speech and feeding therapy. She founded Momma's Light to bring specialized, family-centered care to Calvert County — and to create a practice that takes care of the whole family, not just the child.

Bryn
Administrative Assistant
Bryn Jacobs is a student at CSM who enjoys working with kids and being involved in the community. Coming from a military family, she has lived all over the East Coast and has had the opportunity to connect with many different communities. Outside of school, Bryn owns her own jewelry business and helps with administrative work, social media, and creative content at Momma’s Light. She enjoys staying involved, connecting with others, and making a positive impact through the work she does.
Kim Sweeney
Billing Manager
Kim Sweeney is a Billing Specialist with 15 years of experience in medical billing and pediatric therapy. She truly enjoys being part of the behind-the-scenes work that helps children and families receive the care they need, and she is excited to bring her experience and passion to the team.
Kim lives in Prince Frederick, Maryland, with her husband, their two children—a son and a daughter—and their beloved 11-year-old Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Chelsea. Outside of work, Kim enjoys spending time with her family and is actively involved in her local church. Her faith is an important part of her life, and she loves serving and connecting with her church community.
Gillian Riehle
Office Manager
Gillian has a background in education and a passion for supporting others. She holds a Master’s degree in Childhood Education and has spent several years working in elementary and preschool settings before stepping away from her professional career to focus on raising her family.
She enjoys helping to keep the office running smoothly, while providing a welcome and supportive experience for our clients. Outside of work, she loves spending time with family and friends, cooking, staying active, relaxing at the cottage, and making the most of every season
