Thirteen years of clinical work taught me one thing: when a family finally finds the right support, everything changes.
I'm a speech-language pathologist, a mom to two spirited girls, and a military wife. I built Momma's Light because families in Calvert County deserve a practice where the child gets expert care — and the mom gets to exhale, too.

Is this right for my child?

Trust your instincts — they're usually right. If your child isn't meeting communication or feeding milestones, if mealtimes are consistently stressful, or if your pediatrician has expressed any concern, that's enough reason to have a conversation. You don't need to know whether your child "qualifies" to call. We'll figure that out together.

Momma's Light serves children from birth through age 12. Early intervention is one of the most powerful things a family can do — the earlier we start, the better the outcomes.

We accept TRICARE, Blue Cross, Aetna and select private insurance plans. We also offer private-pay options. Before your first appointment, we'll walk you through exactly what your coverage looks like — so there are no surprises.
